Bumi Hills is like no other place you have ever been. The diversity of life that exists along the banks and within the thickets, is truly remarkable.

Rewilds mission is to be a communication and story — telling business that values and holds the voice of the wild. This story in Partnership with African Bush camps is one of our most exciting yet, as it drives towards the heart of what conservation really needs- people working closer to it because they are in love with it. We were picked up by guide Ntando at the airstrip, and were taken on adventure we will never forget.

This film was created to show ntando’s children the life that he leads within the African Bush. Guides play an important role in conservation, as they facilitate our relationship with the non human world. We hope that this will encourage the youth in Africa to take up positions, that help them nurture and protect our wildlife.

In order for us to Rewild the world, we need to both rewild our hearts and minds. A future that holds and values the diversity of life is possible.

However it requires us to let go of a narrative, that seeks development as a solution to our problems. The saddest thing about this story we have created, is that we will not be able to live in a world where biodiversity does not exist- Ecology and our climate are intricately linked, therefore a loss in biodiversity, is contributing to the loss of stable climate for our children of the future.

May we follow and encourage livelihoods that value all of life, meeting a triple bottom line of PEOPLE, PROFIT and PLACE
